Stuart Walker

Stuart leads AI and Technology Transformation at Cinven, driving value creation across the firm and its portfolio.

Within the portfolio, Stuart works as a strategic partner to management teams, focused on process redesign and AI deployment to identify and capture automation opportunities.

He leads an in-house team, augmented by a network of third-party deployment specialists, and manages Cinven’s broader technology ecosystem — including relationships with hyperscalers and leading AI labs — giving Cinven and its portfolio differentiated access to AI capability.

Internally, he leads Cinven’s own AI adoption, overseeing firm-wide deployment of AI tools including into investment operations.

Stuart’s career has been built at the intersection of technology, data, business transformation and transactions. He began building quantitative models in telecoms networks and data centres in response to exponential data consumption growth — before moving into technology strategy for TMT companies. He subsequently spent over a decade in corporate advisory, first as a Director in the TMT Investment Banking team at Rothschild advising on transactions, and then as a Partner and Managing Director at BCG advising private equity investors and management teams on value creation and operational change.

He joined Cinven in 2018.
