Jorge Quemada

Jorge chairs the Investment Committee, has oversight of the firm’s investment activities, and leads the Iberia regional team. He jointly leads Cinven’s strategic direction and long-term development as Co-Managing Partner, working closely with Bruno Schick, the Executive Committee, the Partner group and the broader Cinven team. Together, Bruno and Jorge chair Cinven’s Executive Committee, which oversees and manages the firm’s day-to-day operations alongside the Operating Committee.

He has been involved in a number of transactions, including Accumin (previously Tinsa), Amara NZero, HBX Group (previously Hotelbeds), idealista, MasOrange, Planasa, Prezioso, RB Europe, Ufinet, Ufinet International I and Ufinet International II.

Previously, Jorge worked for more than 13 years at 3i in Madrid and London. During the last four years he was a partner at 3i in Spain, where he worked on investments in the Iberian market.

Jorge has an MBA from INSEAD and an MA in Economics and Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid and University of Paris.

He joined Cinven in 2011.
