Jorge chairs the Investment Committee, has oversight of the firm’s investment activities, and leads the Iberia regional team.

He has been involved in a number of transactions, including Amara NZero, HBX Group (previously Hotelbeds), MasOrange, Planasa, Prezioso, RB Iberia, Accumin (formerly Tinsa), Ufinet and Ufinet International.

Previously, Jorge worked for more than 13 years at 3i in Madrid and London. During the last four years he was a partner at 3i in Spain, where he worked on investments in the Iberian market.

Jorge has an MBA from INSEAD and an MA in Economics and Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid and University of Paris.

He joined Cinven in 2011.
