Truvo (VNU World Directories at the time of the acquisition) was a leading yellow pages operator with operations in Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Ireland, Romania and minority interests in South Africa and Puerto Rico.
At the time of Cinven’s acquisition, Truvo employed approximately 2,200 people, publishing Yellow Pages directories and telephone books in print, on-line and mobile formats. The Group was the market leader in each of the seven countries in which it operated, producing 125 directories with a circulation of over 40 million copies.
