Matthew joined Cinven in 2005 and is a member of the Financing team. He has been involved in a number of acquisitions and refinancing transactions including Guardian Financial Services, Gala Coral Group, Amadeus, Ziggo, Avio, Maxeda, Ahlsell, Springer, Sebia and SLV. 

He was previously at Merrill Lynch where he worked in European Leveraged Finance. Prior to this he worked in the Financing and Structured Products Division at J. Henry Schroder & Co. 

Matthew is a graduate of Cambridge University and is AMCT-qualified.
