Nicolas joined Cinven in 1999 and has since been involved in a number of transactions including Numericable/Completel, Frans Bonhomme, Aprovia, Générale de Santé and Sebia. He is a member of the Business Services and TMT sector teams.

Nicolas was previously with private equity firm Electra (now Cognetas) in Paris for eight years. Before this, he worked as a research and development engineer with Roussel-Uclaf. Nicolas has an MBA from INSEAD. He also has a BSc in Biology and Chemistry from the École Normale Supérieure and an MSc in Molecular Biology from the Institut Pasteur in Paris.

He was a Tower Fellow at Harvard University.
