Mark Dearnley joins Premium Credit as CIO
Premium Credit Ltd ('Premium Credit') the leading provider of premium finance services in the UK and Ireland, announces today that Mark Dearnley has joined Premium Credit as Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Mark joins from HMRC, where he was Chief Digital and Information Officer, and was responsible for the significant enhancement and digitalisation of HMRC's services.
Mark will be replacing Gopi Chelliah as CIO, who is to leave Premium Credit by the end of 2016. Gopi has contributed significantly to the development of Premium Credit's digital platform and IT infrastructure, enhancing the Operations, IT and Change teams, and the company's overall delivery capability.
Mark has extensive experience from his previous CIO leadership roles at HMRC, Vodafone, Cable and Wireless, and Boots.com. He will bring strong technical insight, leadership and change delivery capability at an important time in Premium Credit's growth journey.
Mark will lead and be responsible for delivery of all change initiatives, ensuring sustainable system performance and robust infrastructure, and further building Premium Credit's digital capabilities. This includes improving Premium Credit's broker integration and customer journeys, which are fundamental to its future success.
