Northgate Public Services appoints Chairman
Northgate Public Services (NPS) is delighted to announce the appointment of Royston Hoggarth as its Chairman.
Mr. Hoggarth brings extensive experience as CEO and Chairman of companies in the software, IT, telecoms and financial services industries, helping businesses to deliver significant expansion through improved customer focus.
He was formerly UK Managing Director for Hays plc; CEO of British Telecom's Global Services business; CEO for the UK, US and European subsidiaries of Cable & Wireless; and CEO, International, at LogicaCMG. Prior to this, he spent 12 years working for IBM in a variety of roles, finally as General Manager for Distributions Services.
He is currently Chairman of IPSL Limited, a leading financial services processing operation; Non-Executive Director of Intercede PLC, a top identity management software business; and Chairman of England Hockey.
The appointment boosts a successful year for Northgate Public Services, which was acquired in December 2014 by Cinven, a leading European private equity firm. NPS has enjoyed many new wins as it deepens its expertise in key public sector markets. This includes successes with the flagship programme, Athena, for UK police forces, and their ground-breaking partnership with London Councils.
David Meaden, Chief Executive of Northgate Public Services, said: "We have a strong ambition to grow the company in the UK and overseas and we are delighted to welcome Royston to the Board. He has extensive experience in the public sector in the UK and internationally which will be hugely helpful as we seek to consolidate our leading position in our core markets and expand our business."
Royston Hoggarth, new Chairman of Northgate Public Services, said: "Northgate Public Services is involved in some of the most ambitious and transformative public sector programmes in the UK and abroad, and has major plans for growth. I look forward to working with the Northgate Public Services Board, the staff and customers in the years ahead."
