JOST is “Hessen Champion 2014”
62 companies competed for the Innovation and Growth Prize awarded by the State of Hesse (Germany) and 10 made it to the final. The JOST Group was awarded with the title "Hessen Champion" in the category World Market Leader.
Last night, the award ceremony took place at the Kurhaus in Wiesbaden, the capital of the State of Hesse. Lars Brorsen, who was presented the award by State Governor of Hesse, Volker Bouffier, and the Secretary of Economics, Energy, Transport and Regional Development of Hesse, Tarek Al-Wazir, in front of an audience of 1,000 guests, was delighted to accept this award: "JOST was founded over 60 years ago in Neu-Isenburg, and our main office rests on the foundation walls of the forge in which the first ball bearing turntables were produced." "Therefore, we are still very much rooted in Hesse, despite the fact we have been present on all continents around the world for a long time. This award provides additional motivation to further enhance our strong global market position. And it is not the least a considerable motivation for our employees who have made a tremendous contribution to the success of our company. "
Categories that make up the Innovation and Growth Prize for the State of Hesse include Job Creator, Innovation and World Market Leader. These awards are supported by the Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport and Regional Development of Hesse (HMWEVL), the Hessian Entrepreneurs' Association (VhU) and the medium-sized Holding Company (MBGH). A jury consisting of representatives from business, politics and media selected the winners in autumn.
