Camaïeu gains foothold in Asia
A new stage in the Group's internationalisation strategy
Aim to open 100 new stores in Asia over the next 5 years

Camaïeu, the leader in women's ready-to-wear in France, which already has a presence in 18 countries, has announced a new stage in its internationalisation strategy with the forthcoming opening of stores in Asia. The first new store will be opened in Indonesia in January 2013. Altogether, Camaïeu intends to open over 100 stores in south-east Asia between now and 2017.
With these new stores, Camaïeu will accelerate its growth, gain access to particularly buoyant markets, and capitalise on its excellent quality/price positioning which is unique in these regions.
To underpin its establishment in Indonesia in a structured and controlled way, Camaïeu has signed a distribution agreement with a top-flight partner, the Indonesian group MITRA. This leading company has over 1,100 stores in the region and distributes over 100 international brands.

This year, Camaïeu is also celebrating the 10th anniversary of its establishment in the Czech Republic, one of the first countries to benefit from the Group's internationalisation strategy. The brand will pursue its strategy of targeted store openings to ensure it has a local presence for customers. Three new stores are scheduled to open in the country in the coming months.
Camaïeu's international network now includes over 400 stores, of which 305 are spread across 10 countries in Europe, notably Poland, Italy, the Czech Republic and Belgium. The Group also has a presence in Russia (76 stores), the Middle East (45 stores) and Morocco (6 stores). Including the French network, the brand has a total of more than 1,000 stores.
