Cinven appoints three new investment executives
European private equity firm, Cinven, today announces the appointment of three new investment executives to its London Frankfurt and Paris teams.
Roberto Italia, Partner, London
Roberto joined Cinven in March from Henderson Private Capital where he was the partner in charge of the firm’s business in Italy. Prior to this he was at Warburg Pincus for eight years latterly as a partner and managing director, focusing on the communications industry as well as Italy and Spain. Previously Roberto was with the Telecom Italia Group.
Roberto has a degree in Economics from LUISS in Rome and an MBA from INSEAD.
Tobias Knechtle, Principal, Frankfurt
Tobias joined Cinven in February. Previously he spent six years at The Boston Consulting Group in Zurich and São Paolo, advising clients in the consumer goods, industrial and financial services industries. Prior to this he worked for Nestlé.
Tobias holds an MBA from the University of Berne, Switzerland.
Geoffroy Willaume, Associate, Paris
Geoffroy joined Cinven in December 2004 having spent two years in private equity at Goldman Sachs in London.
Geoffroy has a degree in Engineering from the Ecole des Mines de Paris and a Masters in Finance from the London School of Economics.
