PizzaExpress voted Best Restaurant Chain

PizzaExpress has been voted Best Restaurant Chain and Best Value Restaurant Chain at Restaurant magazine’s R150 Awards, voted for by industry peers.

The R150 Awards highlight and recognise those individuals and companies that have excelled in the market, running multiple operations and maintaining high standards across a portfolio of different sites.

R150 members voted for their top choices in the following categories – Best Restaurant Design, Best New Scaleable Concept, Best Value Restaurant Chain, Best Family Restaurant Chain, Best Drinks Offering in a Restaurant Chain, Best Healthy Eating Restaurant Chain, Best Pub Company, Best Restaurant Chain.

PizzaExpress was voted among the UK’s top 150 restaurant operators, picking up two awards – Best Restaurant Chain and Best Value Restaurant Chain.

Open to members of the R150, Restaurant magazine's annual list of the UK's biggest restaurant operators by turnover, the R150 Awards are designed to celebrate the companies who have successfully run groups of restaurants.

Restaurant magazine editor Paul Wootton said: "To run a restaurant you need to be highly skilled, but running a group of restaurants requires an extra special set of skills."
